     The Thesis line is composed of elements without compromise. It is for this reason that the TH speakers represent the reference in terms of performance with both multi-amplified active systems and now with systems using “passive” crossovers.

     Pairing the TH speakers with TH amplifiers intensifies the synergy of products belonging to the same magnificent project. So, choosing an active multi-amplified system or one with passive crossovers is merely a question of personal taste.

     Designing a speaker system for the vehicle means taking into consideration the physical installation limits, the acoustic environment of the vehicle itself and personal experience.

In any case, in order to meet specific installation needs, three crossover models have been designed:
- THX 2, for a full range two-way system with TH 1.5 violino and TH 6.5 sax;
- THX 3, for a full range three-way system with TH 1.5 violino, TH 3.0 voce and TH 6.5 sax;
- THX mh, for a mid to high frequency system with TH 3.0 voce and TH 1.5 violino as part of a "mixed" multi-way system.

     All the filters feature a single chassis in a mirrored stereo configuration. This way, overall dimensions and mounting time are reduced, while adjustments are easier to perform.

     The defining characteristic is that each filter is an “open design”.

OPEN DESIGN
     Our goal is to obtain the best acoustic response in any kind of installation! The THX crossovers are not bound by a “single ideal” or by rigid parameters; they allow the user to manage all of the settings that affect in-vehicle acoustic results by directly modifying the components “electric path” that the signal travels.

     Tweeter and Midrange mounted on the dash-board, the pillar or the door. Single or double Woofers employed. With any mounting position, in any vehicle, with any interior size, the Thesis crossovers represent audiophile performance.

     Hand assembled with selected components, and designed according to standards of ergonomics and accessibility, the circuit meets the highest demands in terms of technical and acoustic quality.

     The robust and efficient mother board has been designed following high-level standards, using a 2 mm thick printed circuit board with 105µm copper traces.

     The very solid aluminium chassis along with the stunning transparent plexi cover comply with the stylistic criteria employed within the entire Thesis line starting with the progenitor, the HV venti.

EXTREME CUSTOMIZATION
     The mother boards of the THX crossovers are designed for unlimited adjustment versatility, providing the ability for the user to customize his/her own THX crossover.

Designed as a open project, it is possible to change and set:
- the power connection mode for Bi-Wiring or when used as a passive multi-amplified system;
- the output level of every single speaker;
- the cut-off frequency of every single output;
- the filter cut-off slope;
- the Q (quality factor) at the crossover frequency;
- the use of notch filters to adjust the system to the vehicles acoustics.

     Precise suggestions are offered for each modification; the adjustments are made possible thanks to the circuits being especially designed for this purpose, and to the entire array of the factory provided additional components on the Tuning kit.



AUDISON THESIS ADVISOR
     Like with every Thesis product, the THX crossover default configuration has been designed to achieve the highest sound quality levels. The Audison Thesis Advisor is a service provided for those who want to “tune” their crossover according to the speakers configuration and position inside the vehicle.

     Each user of the Thesis system will have at his/her disposal the best support, to fully enjoy the potential of their new THX crossover. They will not only have an Advanced Manual supplied with the product, offering complete and easy to understand information; they will also have a professional advisor inside the Audison R&D Division who will provide the users with the opportunity to further enhance their crossover.

     Through a dedicated area of the Audison website, the users can interact with the Audison Thesis Advisor who will guide them through the system tuning procedures; through this service they can choose the configuration that best suits their system, request customization support, or even book the Audison Thesis Advisor for on-site assistance to tune their system.
